L, I think writing under a pseudonym is justified if you’re not looking to write professionally and make a living out of it.

Of course, I’m pretty sure there are professional authors who write under pseudonyms themselves and earn a living.

I’m not sure if writing under a pseudonym empowers you to write more “freely” or is it that it allows you to write without needing to think of any consequences or if it will help others. Please correct me if I’m stepping on the wrong thread.

I said so because I was once there. Afraid of writing under my real name because of the fear of people whom I know would judge me for who I really am. But I wanted to improve. I wanted to touch those around me first. Because they are those who matter to me.
