This is actually true for a portion of millennials. While I feel that Simon Sinek’s statement might be too biased and generalising millennials, I think you shouldn’t do the same.
I believe there’s a good reason why the unemployment rate among millennials is comparatively higher than other age groups. And that should be addressed, instead of generalising millennials as a whole.
Nevertheless, I love the parts where you’ve laid out some actionables millennials who haven’t found a general direction to head towards. I think that’s the most important issue anyone talking about millennials should address. Giving any age groups any sorts of labels (Simon Sinek included) wouldn’t help solve the issue.
It is comforting, though, that millennials like yourself are stepping forth to help others who are lost.
